Why Biblical Fatherhood?

I am not one who likes complaining. Either we cannot do anything and therefore complaining is pointless, or, we can do something about it, and therefore, complaining is pointless.  Fatherhood is under assault.  Instead of complaining about how bad our culture is, I have decided to do what I can.  I am trying in earnest to use the Bible as my guide.  Nothing less than the Bible will be blessed of God at the humanly impossible task of being a good, godly father.

I started about eleven years ago as an average father. Over the past eleven years, my fathering has improved, but I still have a long way to go. I have seen some of the rotten fruit of not following God's ways. God is our Heavenly Father and He knows how to be a Father. He has not left us to ourselves. Everything we need to know about fatherhood is contained in the Bible. With fervent prayer and sincere study of God's Word, let us seek to have our obedience blessed of God with families that honor Him.
